The Model Minority Myth
I am honored to be in conversation with my guest Ji Sub Jeong about model minority myth. Ji Sub is an illustrator and designer based in San Francisco. I really enjoyed this conversation with him, it made me recognize some perceptions I and people around me have always held about Asians for example Asians being good in STEM or the idea that Asians do not experience as much racism in the US as other minority groups. For me this conversation really highlights that Asians are not a monolithic group, Asia itself is a very diverse continent and so are the people. I hope you find this conversation insightful.
