I am in conversation today with Adunola Adeshola to talk about imposter syndrome with a specific focus on how imposter syndrome affects women in the workplace.  Adunola is a career strategist who helps corporate professionals land their dream job. She is also the founder of Employee REDEFINED and Forbes article contributor in which she shares tips on how to elevate your career and life.

Imposter syndrome is the feeling you get in which you believe that you may be a fraud and someone is going to discover your inadequacies.  That feeling shows up in the workplace and it affects your ability to sometimes even apply for a job or seek after that promotion you want. Imposter syndrome is something that many people can certainly identify with. Studies suggest that about 70% of professionals experience it, so guys you are not alone. Many people experience these feelings especially  in the first few weeks of a new job, or after a promotion. I'll share my main takeaways at the end of this episode from the conversation.
