IN THE MIX: DELICE DREAM 2013
b"Delice Dream is a French circuit styled event held in Lloret Del Mar which is a beach resort 1 hour out of Barcelona. Two hotels are taken over and filled up with 800 gay boys. For 5 days boat parties, foam parties, pool parties, clubbing events from international brands and beach parties are organised. With the slogan NO TIME TO SLEEP, that is exactly what it is like. \\n\\nThis mix is inspired by my live set at one of the club parties. Unofrtuantely I did not record it live, however after my set so many people had asked for a copy I thought I would recreate it with this In The Mix podcast. \\n\\nThe tracks and order are not exactly what I played on the night, but is very close, the tunes taken from the playlist that I could recall. The music is very uplifting and made up of several genres. There is that 'circuit' sound that still seems to be popular with some of the continental lads. I also added some driving funky house into the mix, a few commercial remixes, and a couple of anthems for good measure. After hearing the other DJs there was no doubt my sound was going to stand out...it was less tribal and more funky. It had more disco elements and less Guetta flavours, and to be honest I was concerned it may not work. It did (much to my relief). So much that I was rushed with requests for a copy of it, so here it is, as close as I could get.\\n\\n I would like to thank the Delice boys for the fun and the memories and look forward to doing it again. \\n\\nTRACKLIST: 1.
