Musician and Artist, Steven Archer has a solo project called Stoneburner. The project\\u2019s name is taken from a weapon from the science fiction novel by Frank Herbert's\\xa0 "Dune."\\xa0 Stoneburner incorporates elements of experimental noise, industrial rock, ethereal, trip hop, and worldbeat.
Known as one of the founders of the darkwave/ electronic rock band, Ego Likeness and his electronica project ::Hopeful Machines:: Archer has also made a career in art and commission works, writing several books such as an illustrated version of Edgar Allen Poe's "Masque of the Red Death," which is on the preliminary ballot for the Stoker Award category for Excellence in a Graphic Novel and a children book called Luna Maris.
His new album is out now on COP International, produced and mixed by the legendary record producer John Fryer (4AD, This Mortal Coil ) called "Apex Predator". \\xa0
