S\\xe3o Paulo, Brazil's BIKE was formed in 2015 by Julito Cavalcante (guitar and vocals), Diego Xavier (guitar andvoice), Daniel Fumega (drums) and Jo\\xe3o Gouvea (bass). I spoke to Joao and Daniel of the band.
BIKE released their debut album "1943" in 2015, followed by "Em Busca da Viagem Eterna" 2017, "Their Shamanic Majesties Third Request" in 2018 and "Quarto Temple" 2019 each bringing them their critical acclaim. Bike is also the only Brazilian band that has released music (Enigma Do Dente Falco) in 2014 through Columbia Records imprint, 30th Century Records, founded by cult American Producer Danger Mouse.\\xa0
BIKE'S latest album (May 2023), produced by Guilherme Held is called "Arte Bruta " via Quadrado Magico Records/Before Sunrise Records. This album represents the process of self-analysis the psych-rock, post-Tropicalia, noise rock collective has undergone in recent years, resulting in the most daring leap in the group's career.\\xa0
