American alternative rock band, Human Drama grew out of the new wave band, The Models which formed in the mid-80s in New Orleans. Eventually relocating to Los Angeles, Human Drama became an integral part of the \\u201cScream Scene\\u201d of bands that played regularly at the famed nightclub Scream.\\xa0 Human Drama signed to RCA Records in 1988 and released their debut EP, \\u201cHopes Prayers Dreams Heart Soul Mind Love Life Death\\u201d followed by the full album, \\u201cFeel\\u201d in 1989, both produced by Ian Broudie (Echo and the Bunnymen, The Fall, The Lightning Seeds and many others). In 2006, Johnny Indovina, the founder, Front man and multi-instrumentalist of Human Drama formed Sound of the Blue Heart, releasing two solid albums, Beauty? in 2006 and Wind of Change in 2009. Since then Human Drama has released numerous full length albums, singles, live albums, a cover album, a documentary called Seven Days in Mexico and videos.

I talked to Johnny Indovina about some of the memories he shared about Human Drama, his passion and the beautiful music he continues to write. Human Drama's new single "Into Our Escape" will be released on May 29, 2020.\\xa0
