Charlotte, North Carolina\\u2019s synthpop, dark electronic act is\\xa0 IIOIOIOII (Pronounced IO "eye-oh"). Formed in 2012 and founded by Christopher Gurney, along with his keyboardist and wife Niki, Iioioioii is best described as dark and atmospheric electronic synthpop with a big dose of classic New Wave and Industrial music.

IIOIOIOII explores lush melodic soundscapes and combines them with hard hitting beats and smooth vocals. On the heels of a pair of highly successful singles, IO released their latest 4th studio album in 2023 entitled "Dreaming" available through\\xa0 Distortion Productions, LLC on CD and via all digital and streaming platforms.
