Ep. 29 Going to the Gym as a 325+ lb person for the first time in years,

I got there because of Nettio! She showed me a deal I could afford as my disability benefit was increased per month just enough to cover the 10 dollar (roughly) fee of going to Planet Fitness down the street from me. So I woke up, had a bit of sugar to power the workout, took my meds, and off I went for my first workout in years. It lasted all of ten minutes. It was hard and I had to stretch multiple times because of the cerebral palsy making my muscles like stone, and my heart rate shot up to around 170 which I know is terrible as when I was at around 220 I would be doing 120-130 beats doing a five k every two days. So that’s my goal. Get back to there and see if it’s even possible for me to get down to 180 lbs. Here’s hoping. Happy New Year to fellow weight loss enthusiasts and everyone who hits the grind stone every day to last longer. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/divergentmind/message
