Ep 34 Momentum

Published: April 9, 2021, 11 p.m.

We start off with shapes and ridiculous fun because, well hey! We're high!

As we start to dive in, we talk about momentum as how to relax and let go INTO the momentum when working towards a goal. We get lost in current circumstances during every endeavour. This is just a creation tirade across the universe. You're bored if you don't do something! So might as well focus and contribute to whole. We all feel anxiety, but knowing we're in a constant state of 'becoming'. Ellevan points out the variants in the complexities of each set of goals / chapter of life. Our state shifts through out all of this.

Ellevan talks about getting ditched on tour and making it work by holding the vision and all the twisty turns that came along with that!

Shout out Madeline in NYC! Shout out U-Scoot in Washington DC! Shout out Farting. Shout out @old.time.hawkey - he's dope.

We then touch on chronic pain, and the unseen experiences some humans have with building the courage to try and break through by embracing the sensation and work with ourselves from exactly where we're at. Winny shares parts of her experiences with her back recovery, landing on advice to being open to slowly bit by by giving yourself the opportunity to be open to feeling it and healing it. With the lack of resistance the body gets the opportunity to flow energy.

Ellevan reads from; ''Feeling is The Secret" Neville Goddard - 'assuming the feeling of having the thing you desire already.'

We review the awareness that your thoughts are not you, you are not your thoughts. They happen from you, you can create new ones. It takes an acute discipline that many lack but we're all getting better at it more and more everyday. Our constant state of reviewing keeps reminding us we have work to do. We see a future where everyone can be fulfilling their own journey so deeply and purely that they wouldn't need to look outside for validation to feel like we're enough. Creating from a place of enthusiasm and creativity. Putting yourself in the situation to feel love you can eventually gain momentum towards your Devine essence.

Winny shares her great moment when Julie of the Corporate Yogi called her out on how she addresses and considers herself professionally when introducing herself. A pivotal learning point for Winny's journey as an actor.

Also a good note for those who meet actors, who aren't actors, the question: "have I seen you in anything?" DESTROYS most artists confidence and comfort in the second you ask it. hahaha So we brainstorm a better process to allow you to see the implication of this. Which is; carry a list of the shows and movies YOU watch and hand it to them and ask them to let you know if they've done anything you know of. But you wouldn't do that, would you? No. You wouldn't. So stay away from asking that, especially to young actors, and rephrase a fun encouraging question shaped more like: "what's your favourite type of character to play?" or "what's your dream role?" - consider the art, not the industry status.

We end off with a legit smoke sash, like get ready to chill.
