Lyons a native of Rochester Minnesota, talks about his journey from high school to college baseball, where he developed into a professional prospect - eventually being drafted by the Washington National in the 2007 Major League Baseball Amateur draft. Following his tenure in the Nationals organization, Lyons found an unlikely new home on Long Island, New York, where he would take his game to a whole new level, becoming an all-star, gold glove winner, back to back champion

The two former teammates take a walk down memory lane and talk about their time playing together with the Ducks, and Lyons shares in detail, the most memorable moment in Long Island Ducks history, \u201cThe Bunt\u201d - his walk off winning hit to clinch the 2012 Atlantic League Championship .

Now in his new role as assistant baseball coach at the collegiate level, Lyons talks about the platform he has to be a positive influence on the young men playing the game he loves, shares some of his future career goals, and passes along some words of encouragement for those who are also out there digging for their dreams.
