On Digmi Discussion Interview #22 - we catch up with former professional baseball player, University Of Miami Alum and current president of the sports & entertainment division of Global Wealth Management - Richard Giannotti

Richard, a native of south Florida ( who also spent part of his childhood days in the northeast) was a standout athlete, playing football, baseball and what many of us don’t know, hockey. But it was baseball that earned his love and he became a standout high school player, eventually earning a scholarship to play for the Hurricanes of the University of Miami.

During his time at Miami, Richard excelled in both the classroom and the baseball diamond, studying finance and helping lead his team to the College World Series.

His success on the field eventually caught the eye of professional baseball scouts, eventually being drafted by the Anaheim Angels.

Always business savvy, Richard helped to create his own fashion brand, Bubucheek, a project that he proudly gives credit to him learning valuable life lessons in business, branding and personal partnerships.

That valuable experience help lead him to his current position at Global Wealth Management - where he now advises and directs his clients, many of which are pro-athletes, on how to better save, protect and invest their finances.

Hear Richard talk about his ups and downs of his college an pro baseball career, his thoughts on our common threads of creating fashion brands and playing the Atlantic League, why he has always been a fan of Digmi and believes in the guy in the tie, why he resonates so stongly with The Rock’s character on the HBO hit show BALLERS (bet you didn’t know about his cameo appearance) and he passes along some encouraging words for anyone out there looking to get started on digging their dream.

An extremely honest, candid and well grounded guy, Richard Giannotti is a guy we can all learn from. His values, beliefs and perspectives are a formula on how to be the most successful version of yourself.

Our longest but most valuable interview yet, we hope you enjoy listening to this interview as much as we did hosting it.

So without further ado…
