Billy Eichner is getting the box office results of his movie Bros and although the film is underperforming, he\\u2019s \\u201cproud\\u201d of the work he did on the big screen.

\\u201cLast night I snuck in and sat in the back of a sold-out theatre playing Bros in LA,\\u201d he tweeted. \\u201cThe audience howled with laughter start to finish, burst into applause at the end, and some were wiping away tears as they walked out. Really. I am VERY proud of this movie.\\u201d

Despite glowing reviews for the Judd Apatow-produced film, Bros has not been a hit at the box office and is estimated to only make $4.8M during its opening weekend, half of what Universal was estimating. Rolling Stone already has BROS on the list of the best comedies of the 21st century. What\\u2019s also true is that at one point a theater chain called Universal and said they were pulling the trailer because of the gay content. (Uni convinced them not to). America, yeah, etc etc.

That\\u2019s just the world we live in, unfortunately. Even with glowing reviews, great Rotten Tomatoes scores, an A CinemaScore etc, straight people, especially in certain parts of the country, just didn\\u2019t show up for Bros. And that\\u2019s disappointing but it is what it is.
