Ep. 80: Class at the MoMA, later a Procrastinator

b"Not the best day for me here at Pratt, also not the worst. \\n\\nLater in the evening there was the Shannon Ebner and Leslie Hewitt talk which I went to. I ran into my former teacher Anne Turyn who talked to me about my work I showed in the crit the other day. The talk with her was helpful and I wish I had recorded her speaking because I value so much of what she has to say. Basically, she was surprised to see what I was doing and doesn't want to see me go in the loop she sees happen every year where students think they are doing something different. She wants to see more content-based work. I also want to produce content based work but have just had trouble committing to a project or vision. \\n\\nSomeone else in my year had an awesome critique because she is shooting based on the idea of boundaries and her images were so consistent and exact. It was inspiring to see. Am I currently in a photographic crisis? Or am I just over thinking..."
