Softy is still out. Jacson Bevens is co-hosting this afternoon. The NFL will be expanding its playoff format to include a seventh team per conference. More football is a good thing, but there will be times when mediocre teams get in.There have been plenty of examples in recent years where 8-8 teams that didn't look all that spectacular would have made the 7th spot. The Astros saga just won't go away, and it probably won't anytime soon. The latest: Big Papi has now called Mike Fiers a snitch for saying something about the sign-stealing procedure. No one is a fan of someone ratting out heir buddies for some small thing, but this is a big deal that has angered a lot of players. How many Astros are getting hit by pitches this year? No one wants to see anyone end up in the hospital, but a little retribution is likely. It's certainly going to get people to tune in when the Astros are on TV.
