2021 Portuguese GP: Analytics Special
Ganna Pogrebna and Patrick Henz review the qualification and race of the Portugal F1 2021 weekend from a data analytics point-of-view. We focus on (1) the internal team duels and discuss why this year is so tough for new drivers to establish themselves inside their teams. Furthermore, (2) we use natural language processing and sentiment analysis to show whether emotional loading of their commentaries can predict the outcome of the race. Enjoy!
