She is the patron of Switchboard an LGBT+ helpline, An Ambassador for the Clutha Trust an arts and music charity and an Ambassador for Nordoff Robbins which provides music therapy.

We talk about growing up gay and being different, the amazing portrait by Roxanna Halls, the importance of Switchboard the LGBT+ helpline and her experiences of working with music therapy and Autistic people.
