Conversations - Ross Wece
One of the coolest projects I worked on in my time with the World of Outlaws was the Open Red podcast. From 2016 to 2020, me and the video guy for WRG, Ross Wece, co-hosted 190 episodes featuring a who's who of sprint car racing including every series champion, some greats of the sport, today's stars and more. We also did some crazy stuff like put Ross in a midget at the Chili Bowl with the help of our listeners. In the year I've been gone from World Racing Group, Ross has also now moved on, and today the show is hosted by Rob Blount and Nick Graziano. This time on Conversations, I wanted to do a reunion of sorts and get the band back together. Ross joins me to chat about his new video guy job in the NASCAR world, and we also talk a bunch about Open Red and the current state of dirt racing. I've spent a lot of time sitting around microphones with Ross and it was fun to catch up on things. Please enjoy the show.
