The great Sukant Kadam, Indian professional Para-Badminton Player, joins Cyrus today for a chat about being worldwide no. 5 rank currently in his sport, having been rank no. 2 very early on in his career, what made him take up the sport, and lots more.
Cyrus and Sukant talk about Sukant's target of reaching world rank no. 1 over the next year or two, badminton in the times of the coronavirus, how difficult it's been to play in tournaments since the last year, how not participating in tournaments affects your rankings, the growing sport of para-badminton in India (we have won 21 medals in the previous tournament), the different categories of para-badminton athletes, and a lot more.
