On this episode Cyrus is joined by the super interesting couple Anil Nair and Piyali Mandal, Co-founders of Kunto World - a digital fitness platform that provides physical fitness, nutritional guidance and mental health support for school going children. Piyali and Anil also started a free crowd-sourced social initiative platform during the pandemic called 'Pandemic Panda'.
Cyrus talks to the two guests about how and why they started Kunto World, what they were doing prior to this, and tons more.
They discuss how Anil and their daughter had a fall from a bicycle just before the lockdown, how that led to building Kunto World, trying to keep children meaningfully engaged, statistics like the ridiculous numbers of 15 million obese children in India, or that 1 out of 10 children between the ages of 5 to 7 in India are pre-diabetic, mental health among kids, how the pandemic seems to have affected children, rising levels of aggression and obsessive behaviours among children, online bullying, and lots more.
