Every single member of the country music community knows that each part of their culture is built on the music carefully crafted by songwriters. The best songs are awarded special status each year by the Country Music Association during the CMA Awards. The Cracker Barrel Country Store has collected some of the best artists country has to offer to sing the winners of the CMA's "Songs of the Year" category on a new CD. To celebrate the release of this compilation country music's finest came to the Schermerhorn Symphony Center to give homage to the best songs of the past. Lance Yelvington tells us more.
