John Ruiz, Paul Bender, John Sullivan, Marvelous Marvin Hagler, Rocky Marciano; and the list can go on and on when talking about notable boxers from the commonwealth of Massachusetts. Not sure if there's something in the lobster or the clam chowder, but Mass sure has a way of producing a top-tier fighter. The next name we should all know coming out of Worcester is the reigning WBC USNBC Silver Lightweight Champion, Jamaine "The Technician" Ortiz! If you're a boxing fan, you know that the weight class that gets a lot of the attention these days is Lightweight and this 25 year old fighter is coming for everything the boxing world has to offer!

Fighting since the very young age of 7yrs old, Jamaine always knew he wanted to box since he started training under Jose Rivera, a former world champion, who in fact gave "The Technician" his nickname. Jamaine is sitting at an impressive 14-0-1 record all while taking whichever fight came his way and never backing down from any fighter who was favored. Join KASH & Charlie MaSheen as they host a very promising contender, who is actually the first professional athlete to make an appearance on the podcast. The champ talks about his upbringing in Worcester and what made him choose boxing, his personal influences when it comes to fighting, some business endeavors he has going on, and he even gives us 4 names of rap artists out of Worcester he listens to personally! There's a lot more in store for The Technician so learn more about him and follow his story!

Hopefully we'll see him fighting for a world championship by the end of this year!
