Published: Oct. 19, 2020, 4 a.m.

We've been tapping into Boston's R&B scene as of late and this week we're back with one of the leading voices in the city; a Rhode Island native turned Bostonian, Eva Davenport! Charlie MaSheen & Tiny Bellez welcomes the songstress to the couch to catch some laughs and talk all things R&B. Eva dives into her emergence on the scene in 2017, the help and warm embrace she's gotten from fellow creators like Red Shaydez, early influences, her first body of work, and more. Chizz also mentions Eva being nominated for two Boston Music Awards: Vocalist of the Year, and R&B Artist of the year! It's refreshing to see artists who deserve recognition being acknowledged for the hard work they've been putting in!

Eva Davenport's EP "Letters To Self" is a short 5 track body of work that is full of soul, pain, and records that display the singer's vocal range all while leaving the listener wanting more. The album does get broken down and needless to say, we are eager to hear the new work Eva has on the way! The wholistic and soulful artist also wraps up the podcast with a beautifully sang freestyle to Monica's "So Gone". Dont miss out on the conversation!
