But Cumbria LEP has come under fire for poor performance.

Cumbria LEP is drawing up a Local Industrial Strategy, which it hopes will make a \\u201ccompelling case\\u201d to Government and business for investment in the county.
To help shape the document it is hosting consultation events next week in Carlisle, Kendal, Workington and Barrow, and is keen that businesses attend.
