As the fastest growing, privately owned Media Company in the country, Horizon Media’s growth is reflected in the on-going development of their workplace. A+I first designed parts of three floors at 75 Varick for Horizon Media, with the goal of fostering connectivity between the newly co-located staff. After the recent completion of the fourth —the build-out of the full 15th and 16th floors—A+I is now working on the fifth expansion, adding 125,000SF across the 11th and 12th floors. The offices at Horizon Media have inspired an impressive change in their culture, and has become an engine for transformation of workplace behavior. The design promotes new and different modes of collaboration with enough variety to increase the volume of time spent collaborating. Employees are afforded the luxury of flexible, elastic work spaces which benefit from the light, airy quality of the space. The workplace manifests Horizon’s commitment to the wellbeing of their team and to fostering collaboration between them.
