Boston Courthouse Part 2: The Courtrooms | Judge Douglas Woodlock

Judge Douglas Woodlock Chair of the Building Committee for the Boston Courthouse talks about the design of the Courtroom itself as the place where a high governmental official can listen to any individual who has a problem that they’ve brought to the courts.
It’s a place where an individual can speak to that public official and take as much of his time as is necessary to resolve the problem.  Unlike much of government which is wholesale, it’s retail.
The courtroom has to be a place of dignity and a place of humanity and that was the core of the building.
