Thursday, Aug. 12: Prime Minister Justin Trudeau expected to launch a federal election campaign this Sunday; sources say Canadian special forces will deploy to Afghanistan to evacuate Canadian embassy staff in Kabul; and, paddling down the St. Lawrence River to raise money for charity.
