China has likewise pushed the narrative. The United States and\xa0NATO\xa0partners are warning that Russia\u2019s claims could be laying the groundwork for a false flag attack, which Russia could blame on either Ukraine or the United States.
Meanwhile, President Joe Biden is also warning that the situation could escalate into a third world war, if NATO is drawn into the conflict. And Biden has drawn a line in the sand, saying that if Russia launches attacks on any NATO territory, the United States will retaliate with full force. Alongside this, Russia has stated that U.S. military supplies to Ukraine will be regarded as targets for attack.
