The one the people wanted! If you've ever had anything to do with Greg, you'll know what to expect here. One of these shores' finest ever surfers is also one of our most colossal characters. Of course it was only a matter of time before we hit Greg up for his life story, and as with some of our other legends, it's just too much for one episode alone. In this first instalment, Tom is joined by Mark Vaughan and the pair walk Greg through his early years, from being paid to 'go down the hyrdro-slide at Coney to make it look busy', through to running No Limit Wetsuits and gathering a slew of national and international titles. This journey, naturally, was via some hilarious mishaps - such as the infamous time one of HM Constabulary was minded to swim into the lineup at the Esp to stop him breaking a little known by-law. As Tom puts it, 'listening to Vaunt and Greg bounce off each other is one of the finest experiences', and now here it is for your patient ears! Enjoy. (Part Two to follow in a fortnight.)
