Kaitlyn’s takeaways

.Own not Being ‘on trend and show your natural flare of pattern and fabric clashing or unusual garment cuts.

.If you have a story about the original garment or fabric then tell it!! In a world of mass produced and cheap fast clothing, customers want more individual garments that have a story to them.

.As a creative we should always be thinking about sustainability.

.Hire local or if you’re not at that stage, shop local! It’s all good energy to you and your work

.Feeling overwhelmed and spinning plates is not good for our health, listen to your body and work with your intuition.

.Take a step back and think ‘what can I put my energy into?’ Rather than forcing it!

.Don’t be ashamed of being a seeker, it’s a growth mindset!

.Looking for beauty wherever you are during these strange times Is a super power us creatives have. Use it!

.Success is having a job that doesn’t feel like work. Or also being grateful for where you are now!
