Palaszczuk Government Refuses To Get Involved With Council Watchdog 21/10/2021

The Palaszczuk government is refusing to get involved in the growing crisis surrounding Queensland’s council watchdog. Exhausted ambos are so stretched they don’t even have time to take a meal break, in another example of the state’s strained health system.  Queensland has recorded its worst week for first-dose vaccinations since early August, despite pleas from the Premier for people to “hop on the lifeboat” and warnings that outbreaks could kill dozens of people when borders reopen.  Facebook is under fire again after leaked documents showed its artificial intelligence systems designed to block hate speech and violence were ineffective, removing as little as 2 per cent of hateful content from the world’s most popular social media site.  For updates and breaking news throughout the day take out a subscription at couriermail.com.au.
