Labor's “Fully Costed” Plan 17/04/2022

Labor's “fully costed” plan to trial 50 urgent care clinics across Australia with $135 million to top up running costs only covers the equivalent of one extra GP per centre. One of Australia’s richest men has called for an inquiry into how charities use donated money after his $1 million was not spent how he intended.  The Courier-Mail can reveal that during 2021, there were 1.002 million infringement notices issued to speeding drivers – up 8.6 per cent from the 922,837 that were dished out in 2020.  Some of the state’s wealthiest private schools including Cannon Hill Anglican College, Brisbane Grammar and St Margaret’s are set to receive more than $650m in “over funded” Federal Government cash over the next six years, new analysis has claimed.  For updates and breaking news throughout the day take out a subscription at couriermail.com.au.       See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
