While bushcraft or wilderness survival skills aren\\u2019t a \\u201ctop priority\\u201d when prepping and preparing for disaster, they are force multiplying skills. Knowing how to build a fire, filter water, or forage for food will be handier than you think.
\\nWe have all these modern conveniences, which are fantastic, but what happens when those are unavailable? Can you build a fire without a bic lighter? Or could you find food if you found yourself in a survival situation?
\\nKnowing some bushcraft or wilderness skills gives you a fallback option when all else fails. Not every person interested in wilderness survival or bushcraft is interested in preparedness, but in my opinion, all preppers should have some austere survival skills.
