A Family History of the Boston Massacre
Guest: Serena Zabin, Professor, History, and Director, American Studies, Carleton, and author, "The Boston Massacre: A Family History"
The stories we have of the event ignore that everyone involved was very much a part of the community, with several of the soldiers married to Bostonians. Everyone involved knew at least several other people involved. It was a family affair.

The Plot Against George Washington During the Revolutionary War
Guest: Josh Mensch, documentary television producer and co-author, "The First Conspiracy: The Secret Plot to Kill George Washington"
While we tend to think of the American Revolution as steadfast colonists throwing off tyrannical British forces, there was great turmoil in the colonies over which side to support. In 1776, conflict even led to a plot against Washington by members of his own elite Life Guard.
