Getting Started: Fear the How

You know what you want to write and you know why. Now all you have to do is start and you'll be on your way.

Go ahead.

Seriously.

You know that feeling you might be experiencing now? The one where your throat tightened up and you've started sweating. That feeling where the blank page in front of you is promising you that the mysterious "they" will hate it and you'll be cast out of your family as a disgrace. That's just fear.

Unfortunately, fear stops most great writing projects before they begin. Fortunately, I'm talking about how to start your writing this week and it just might have some thoughts that will help.
