Today it was hard to open my eyes, to get out of bed. The space in my head became blurry, gray, lukewarm, and smothering. I'm used to this feeling, far too used to it. We all lose out way from time to time, as artists, as people, and we need a guiding light, some divine help to get us through.\\xa0
And so I look to the ancient past, to the Invocation of the Muse made by Homer as he sought to tell the story of someone else who was lost and searching for home. On this Sunday evening, it's helping me and, maybe, it will help you too.
