Wendy Love Edge and Helping Communities on the Fire Line on "A Cup of Joe"

WENDY LOVE EDGE is an author, artist, talk show host and cannabis activist. She\n\nis from Boston originally, and has recently made Northwest Arkansas her home\n\nagain after several years. Ms. Love Edge is magna cum laude graduate of Boston\n\nUniversity in 1987, with a BS in Occupational therapy. Ms. Love Edge is most\n\nknown for being the founder of Bulldozer Health Inc., a 501c3 nonprofit\n\norganization and health care reform initiative. You can learn more about it at\n\nwww.bulldozerhealth.org.\n\nIn 2017, Ms. Love Edge authored the book, \u201cSixteen: My Journey into Wellness\u201d.\n\nThis book explores and explains how she became ill in 2011, and was told she\n\nwould die. It also delivers a recipe for success with creating wellness and health.\n\nShe then authored and illustrated two more books for children. The first is\n\n\u201cHelpful Hannah Creates Her Own Health and Happiness\u201d and the second is\n\n\u201cHelpful Hannah Educates Herself About Cannabis\u201d. These books are meant to\n\neducate and inspire individuals to health empowerment and improved health and\n\nwellness. The cannabis education book was written to teach children the truth\n\nabout the cannabis family of plants, and reduce the stigma attached to it.\n\n\n\nMs. Love Edge quickly learned after creating Bulldozer Health that a multimedia\n\napproach was the way forward to reach a large audience with a message about\n\nhealth, wellness and health empowerment.
