Amy Wolfinbarger is a long time Ohio cannabis reform activist.\xa0 She is the founder of Sensible Norwood and author of the Norwood Cannabis Ordinance.\xa0 After an original ballot placement denial and a challenge before the State Supreme Court, she rewrote the initiative in 2018, acquired ballot placement and passed her ordinance by 73% of the vote.\xa0 She also rallied her community and prevented a permanent ban on cannabis businesses.\xa0\n\nIn addition to her work in Norwood, Amy has volunteered on numerous statewide legalization initiatives.\xa0 She was regional coordinator for Ohio Rights Group, regional manager for Ohioans to end prohibition and southwest regional coordinator for Ohioans for medical marijuana.\xa0 She testified before the Senate for HB523.\xa0 Amy also sat as Executive Director for Miami Valley Norml where she organized events, signature drives, educational meetings, participated in letter writing campaigns and lobby day events.\xa0\n\nBecause of her work as a grassroots activist, Amy has spent a great deal of time out in the community.\xa0 \xa0She has developed a true passion for people and local politics.\xa0 She firmly believes people should have a voice in government.\xa0 \xa0When you combine her belief in democracy, and passion for her community, it only makes sense that she is now running for Norwood City council.\xa0\n\nJoin us for "A Cup of Joe" to find out what YOU can do to help The Human Solution International accomplish our mission of ending cannabis prohibition to ensure civil and basic human rights.\n\nWednesday Nights 8:00 PM EDT/5:00 PM PDT On Coffee Party USA Radio
