Macey Tomlin and Matt Kahl have been advocates for plant medicine for some time. For years, Americans have turned to the pharmaceutical companies for a solution to their unhappiness. The Journal of the American Medical Association states the\xa0percentage of Americans taking antidepressants nearly doubled between 1999 and 2012.Macey has been an advocate for the therapeutic properties of psychedelics for six years. After her first Ayahuasca ceremony, she\xa0became\xa0interested in the growing rate of depression and anxiety in western cultures and believes scientific studies will move people will away from big Pharma. Matt comes by way of education meeting reality. Matt's concentration in college was Behavioral Neuroscience, Psychopharmacology of the indole alkylamine hallucinogenics and eCB receptor chemistry. Discovered sacred medicinal plants\xa0and studied academically and experientially. Cannabis, mushrooms, cacti, and\xa0tropical shrubs. Matt joined the Army and was a member of the\xa0"Band of Brothers".
