Overlooked Scourge
Before the Covid-19 pandemic, our nation was dealing with an epidemic. It was dealing with a drug scourge that was like the AIDS epidemic, until this new pandemic. Now as the virus has taken center stage, the opioid epidemic has faded from memory while overdose rates have risen. In this episode, I rant about this issue that has been swept under the rug.
