This week I speak to Albert Matthews, a man empowering young people to choose purpose.
\nAlbert is a transformational speaker and founder of the Youth Chatroom, an initiative empowering young people through social media.
Albert grew up on the Cape Flats and had spent his younger years involved in gangsterism and addicted to drugs. He has first-hand experience of the negative consequences a life like this has, after witnessing his friends getting gunned down.

\nDuring this episode, we speak about the importance of environment in your growth, and how there were expectations placed on him by the community because of the infamous reputation that his family had. We also look at the role of your peers and how they too place expectations on you.
\n
\nAlbert speaks about purpose and how he sees his life and journey as preparing him for the work of positively impacting the next generation to make better decisions. He also speaks about the book that he is in the process of publishing and shares some of the frameworks thereof.

\nStay tuned, this is an episode not to be missed.
