On todays episode I speak to Chad Saaiman, music artist and producer, about what it really took for him to chase his dreams. During this episode we speak about deciding to pursue a career in music, the core principles that allowed him to thrive in the music industry for more than a decade. As well as how being shot in a botched car jacking refined his perspective.

\nDuring this episode we look at what it was growing up on the Cape Flats, and the role mentors played in his success. Chad admits that he was not the most talented singer, and that it was only during his final year in high school that he began to realise that maybe singing is something that he should pursue. He speaks about the importance of work ethic but more importantly developing a skill that sets you apart from everyone else.
\nIn addition, Chad speaks about his relationship with failure and rejection, and why if you want to succeed at the highest level that you have to inoculate yourself against the fear of failure.
