Today I speak to Bruce Nadin, a sports chaplain, mentor, child of God and author of Call Up - The Competitors Prayer Book. During this episode we speak about his journey impacting and serving elite athletes. Bruce began his journey at Leicester City football club before moving to South Africa to get involved in mentoring inmates at some of the toughest prisons in South Africa. We speak about his experience and takeaways from working with these inmates, especially since he was new to South Africa and the gang culture.
\nBefore long, doors started opening for Bruce at football clubs in Cape Town and he once again got involved in providing guidance and mentorship to athletes.
Bruce tells us about what ignited the Call UP Competitors Prayer book. A book with prayers specifically designed to meet the human needs of the athlete \u2013 whether dealing with getting dropped from the team or being out of form.
\n
\nBruce and I also speak about the value crisis plays in our lives and how it can help direct our efforts to what is truly matters, the role identity plays in our success and many more.

\nStay tuned, this is a episode.
