But the size and intensity of fires over the last several years is something new. \\n\\n\\nThey are being called \\u201cmegafires;\\u201d wildfires covering over 100,000 acres each. The higher temperatures and lower humidity, brought on by climate change, are whipping up these hotter and bigger wildfires.
