Today, I\\u2019m joined by Dr. Masa\\u014d Ashtine, Lecturer at the University of the West Indies who is leading the renewable energy research at the Mona Campus in Jamaica. He is also the co-founder of the Journal of Caribbean Environmental Sciences and Renewable Energy. His research is centerd around environmental sciences, with a specific focus on renewable energy and climate change. At the Department of Physics, his current work is within energy meteorology where he is investigating the impacts of climate change on renewable energy systems, incorporating machine learning techniques that can be used to better model these systems.'
