Published: July 11, 2022, 4 a.m.

From busboy at a summer resort at the Catskills Mountains to headlining the famed destination that gave rise to legends like Jerry Lewis, Danny Kaye, Ben Stiller and so many more. A legend and inspiration to countless comedians, Robert Klein crafted his skill and took his place as one of our lifetime's most original and prolific comedians.

My guest, Robert Klein, and I discuss:

  • The rise and fall of the Catskills Mountains
  • Robert's documentary 'Still Can't Stop His Leg'
  • The documentary Robert narrated, 'When Comedy Went To School'
  • Roberts inspirations: Lenny Bruce and Jonathan Winters
  • Two of his favorites: George Carlin and Richard Pryor
  • His life-changing time at Second City Chicago w/Fred Willard and David Steinberg
  • Robert's acting career on TV: Shows that he became part of and the ones he missed out on
  • His comedy teacher: Rodney Dangerfield
  • Being a Broadway Star with an emphasis on They're Playing our Song with Lucille Arnez.
  • Politics\xa0
  • Acting in movies. Including Owl and the Pussycat and of course, one of my favorites, Sharknado 2 (and 3).

Tons of great stories and fun with Robert Klein await you!\xa0
