Uri Geller\xa0(/\u02c8\u028ari\xa0\u02c8\u0261\u025bl\u0259r/;[1]\xa0Hebrew:\xa0\u05d0\u05d5\u05e8\u05d9 \u05d2\u05dc\u05e8\u200e; born 20 December 1946) is an Israeli-British[2]\xa0illusionist, magician, television personality, and self-proclaimed\xa0psychic. He is known for his trademark television performances of\xa0spoon bending\xa0and other illusions. Geller uses\xa0conjuring tricks\xa0to simulate the effects of\xa0psychokinesis\xa0and\xa0telepathy.[3][4]\xa0Geller's career as an entertainer has spanned more than four decades, with television shows and appearances in many countries. In 2015, FISM (the International Federation of Magical Societies) invited Uri Geller to deliver an inspirational, motivational lecture to over 1500 Magicians at FISM Italy. Geller admitted that he is a magician and can perform seven tricks.[5]
