Uranus
Uranus\xa0(from the Latin name\xa0\u016aranus\xa0for the Greek god\xa0\u039f\u1f50\u03c1\u03b1\u03bd\u03cc\u03c2) is the seventh\xa0planet\xa0from the\xa0Sun. It has the third-largest planetary radius and fourth-largest planetary mass in the\xa0Solar System. Uranus is similar in composition to\xa0Neptune, and both have bulk chemical compositions which differ from that of the larger\xa0gas giants\xa0Jupiter\xa0and\xa0Saturn. For this reason, scientists often classify Uranus and Neptune as "ice giants" to distinguish them from the gas giants. Uranus'\xa0atmosphere\xa0is similar to Jupiter's and Saturn's in its primary composition of\xa0hydrogen\xa0and\xa0helium, but it contains more "ices" such as water,\xa0ammonia, and\xa0methane, along with traces of other\xa0hydrocarbons.[14]\xa0It has the coldest planetary atmosphere in the Solar System, with a minimum temperature of 49\xa0K (\u2212224\xa0\xb0C; \u2212371\xa0\xb0F), and has a complex, layered\xa0cloud\xa0structure with water thought to make up the lowest clouds and methane the uppermost layer of clouds.[14]\xa0The interior of Uranus is mainly composed of ices and rock.[13]
