Manfred Albrecht Freiherr von Richthofen\xa0(German:\xa0[\u02c8manfre\u02d0t f\u0254n \u02c8\u0281\u026a\xe7tho\u02d0fn\u0329]; 2 May 1892\xa0\u2013 21 April 1918), known in English as\xa0Baron von Richthofen\xa0or the\xa0Red Baron, was a\xa0fighter pilot\xa0with the\xa0German Air Force\xa0during\xa0World War I. He is considered the\xa0ace-of-aces\xa0of the war, being officially credited with 80\xa0air combat\xa0victories.
