The Death of Princess Diana
In the early hours of 31 August 1997,\xa0Diana, Princess of Wales\xa0died in hospital after being injured in a car crash in a road tunnel in\xa0Paris, France. Her partner,\xa0Dodi Fayed, and their driver,\xa0Henri Paul, were pronounced dead at the scene. Their bodyguard,\xa0Trevor Rees-Jones, survived serious injuries.
