MK Ultra
Project MKUltra, also called the\xa0CIA mind control program, is the code name given to a program of experiments on human subjects that were designed and undertaken by the United States\xa0Central Intelligence Agency\u2014and which were, at times, illegal.[1][2][3]\xa0Experiments on humans were intended to identify and develop drugs and procedures to be used in interrogations in order to weaken the individual and force confessions through\xa0mind control. The project was organized through the\xa0Office of Scientific Intelligence\xa0of the CIA and coordinated with the\xa0U.S. Army Biological Warfare Laboratories.[4]
